Another season of the American Advertising Awards has arrived and you don’t want to miss it. As always, we’re celebrating the heroes – copywriters, graphic designers, art directors and account managers who make ads [and other stuff] more colorful. Sort of like our favorite small-screen heroes.

So here’s the [TV] guide to this year’s ADDYs:

Enter your best work by January 8 to make sure you’re part of the show. Submissions are so easy you can probably do it from the comforts of your own couch. While binging your favorite show, of course.

On February 23, bring your favorite two-dimensional TV character to life, whether it’s Eleven/El/Jane from Netflix’s Stranger Things (Season 1 OR Season 2’s look), Bob Ross and his happy trees, the local news anchor, or that one actor from that one movie that’s always on rerun. It’s a chance to channel your creative best – and in more ways than one!


Bragging rights are granted to each company (or individual) upon winning. The winner is entitled to one year of shame-free boasting.


Looking for a reason to call clients? Nothing works better than telling them their project just won an award and is moving on to district competition.


Entering the AAA’s helps enhance advertising through programs such as public service, advocacy groups, and consumer awareness.
